Is it Worth the Money?
Food budgets have gotten crazy over the past couple years. Even though our milk may seem at first glance like a high dollar food that will only add to your monthly cost of food, I propose that it will save you money. Not only in the long term with lower health care costs but even in the short term!
Raw milk can lower your food and supplement bills if you eat it strategically, and to call it strategic is kind of funny really. Most of history, civilizations have consumed raw milk at meal time. Not only does it make the rest of the meal go further, smaller meals mean less purchased at the grocery store, but all the active enzymes and probiotics make for better digestion and greater satiation. When your meal is digested more thoroughly you actually need less food because you get more of the nutrition you need from your food.
Raw milk contains more available nutrients than any other food. Not only does it contain more vitamins and minerals than other foods, but they are packaged alongside all the enzymes and probiotics to make them available to your body. Many things, take a multivitamin for instance, have all the vitamins and minerals you need. The problem is your body can't absorb most of them. The nutrients in raw milk were designed to work together synergistically with all the various components to be the most digestible. You can live on milk alone because it contains everything we need to thrive.
If you are like most Americans, you probably buy various supplements like probiotics, B vitamins etc. Raw milk is different than other multivitamin like sources of vitamins and minerals in that you can live on raw milk because of the large variety of available nutrients alongside protein, carbs, and stable fats. One of the most noteworthy components of raw milk is the super potent probiotics. If you replaced your probiotic supplement, it would probably cover the cost of getting at least a half gallon of milk per week. The nutrients in raw milk were designed to work together synergistically with all the various components making them more potent than if they were consumed in a vitamin alone. Think about it more like athletic greens or some expensive supplement but it also fills you up with all of the quality raw protein and carbs.
Let’s look at just one component of raw milk to show how the price is low even looking at only this one aspect of this food:
Cheap source of no prep raw protein
Each half gallon has 64 grams of easy to digest, raw protein. Compare that to high quality meat sticks from grass fed animals. ( I am using Thrive Market's bulk option pricing on Chomps organic grass fed meat sticks. I use the comparison only because most protein sources, other than nuts, need to be prepared. Raw milk needs no prep time and is one of the most convenient foods because of this.) A 40 pack of meat sticks contains 360 grams of protein at 25 cents per gram of beef protein. Our raw milk has 64 grams per half gallon and comes to less than 10 cents per gram of milk protein. The protein in raw milk is 2.5 times cheaper and contains much more than simply protein. What we are offering isn’t milk like you get in the store; it is a completely different product produced in a different way by cows who are living their best life while healing the land and rewarding us with milk that is healing and delicious.
